ISSUED AT:5:00 AM, 10 November 2017

SALOME HAS MAINTAINED ITS STRENGTH AND IS NOW OFF THE COAST OF ZAMBALES – BATAAN.
Estimated rainfall amount is from moderate to heavy within the 250 km diameter of the Tropical Storm.
Residents under TCWS #2 and #1 as well as Central Luzon and CALABARZON are advised to be alerted against possible flashfloods and landslides.
Sea travel is risky over areas under TCWS #2 and #1 due to rough to very rough seas.
Salome is expected to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by tomorrow morning.

Location of eye/center: At 4:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Storm “SALOME” was estimated based on all available data including Subic doppler radar at 55 km Southwest of Subic, Zambales (14.5 °N, 119.9 °E)

 

Strength: Maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 100 kph

 

Forecast Movement: Forecast to move West Northwest at 20 kph
