With a low-pressure area now out of Philippine territory, state weather forecasters expect the weather to be fair until next week.
The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the extended forecast shows relatively fair weather until Nov. 21.
“Based on the weather forecast, it will be fair weather except isolated rain showers or thunderstorms,” it said on its Twitter account.
As of 8 a.m., PAGASA said a low-pressure area earlier considered a potential cyclone was estimated at 440 km west of Coron, Palawan.
For now, a wind convergence is affecting Northern Luzon, it said.
“The wind convergence will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over the eastern sections of Northern and Central Luzon,”
