SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 AM today, the center of Tropical Depression “NIMFA” was estimated based on all available data at 785 km East Northeast of Basco, Batanes (22.2?N, 129.3?E) with maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 70 km/h. It is moving Northeast slowly. Southwest Monsoon affecting Central and Southern Luzon and Western Visayas.

PAGTAYA: Mga pag-ulan dulot ng Habagat ang mararanasan sa lalawigan ng Aurora habang maulap na kalangitan na may kalat-kalat hanggang sa malawakang mga pag-ulan at pagkidlat-pagkulog ang inaasahan sa mga lalawigan ng Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Apayao, Kalinga, Abra, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Benguet, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union at Pangasinan dahil sa Trough ni Bagyong “NIMFA”.

Katamtaman hanggang sa malakas na hangin mula Hilagang-silangan hanggang sa Hilagang-kanluran ang iiral sa Hilagang Luzon at sa Lalawigan ng Aurora. Ang mga baybaying dagat ay magiging maalon hanggang sa napakaalon.

FORECAST: Monsoon rains caused by Southwest monsoon will be experienced over Aurora province while cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rainshowers and thunderstorms is expected over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, Apayao, Kalinga, Abra, Mt. Province, Ifugao, Benguet, Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan due to the Trough of TD “NIMFA”.

Moderate to strong winds coming from the Northeast to Northwest will prevail over Northern Luzon and Aurora Province. The coastal waters will be rough to very rough.
