LPA may develop into a tropical cyclone in 24 hours – PAGASA

State weather bureau PAGASA, in its 5 am bulletin for Glenda, said it has spotted a new low pressure area 940 kilometers east of northern Mindanao.
According to independent weather monitoring agency Weather Philippines late Wednesday, July 16, the active low pressure area is consolidating rapidly and could develop into a Tropical Cyclone within the next 24 hours.
