Synopsis: At 4:00 pm today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 170 km East of Guiuan, Eastern Samar (11.0°N, 127.3°E). Northeast monsoon affecting Northern Luzon.
Forecast: Eastern Visayas will experience cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods or landslides. The rest of Visayas, Bicol Region and the provinces of Quezon, Marinduque and Romblon will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. The regions of Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and Ilocos will be cloudy with light rains. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Northeast will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the Northeast with slight to moderate seas.
