At 4:00 a.m. today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 115 km East of Puerto Princesa City, Palawan (9.7°N, 119.8°E). Northeast Monsoon affecting Northern Luzon.
Forecast:
Palawan will experience cloudy skies with moderate to heavy rainshowers and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Metro Manila, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, Bicol Region and the provinces of Mindoro, Marinduque and Romblon will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of luzon will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains. The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast and east will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the southwest to southeast with slight to moderate seas.
