At 2:00 a.m. today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on Hinatuan radar, satellite and surface data at 70 km East Northeast of Surigao City (10.0°N, 126.2°E).
Bicol Region and Visayas will experience cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rainshowers and thunderstorms which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. The eastern sections of Northern and Central Luzon, the rest of Southern Luzon and Mindanao will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms. The rest of Luzon will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the East to Northeast will prevail over Luzon and coming from the Southeast to Northeast over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be moderate to rough.
