Low Pressure Area (LPA) embedded along the monsoon trough affecting Northern Luzon

Synopsis:
At 4:00 p.m. today, the Low Pressure Area (LPA) embedded along the monsoon trough affecting Northern Luzon, was estimated based on all available data at 270 km northeast of Itbayat, Batanes (22.7°N, 123.4°E). Meanwhile, another Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated at 1,240 km northeast of Itbayat, Batanes (23.8°N, 133.4°E).
Forecast:
The regions of Ilocos, Cordillera and Cagayan Valley will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over the northern and western section of Luzon and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough. Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the southwest with slight to moderate seas.
