Luzon and Mindanao will have mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming cloudy with widespread rains over the western sections of Northern and Central Luzon which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. Visayas will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
Moderate to strong winds blowing from the Southwest to South will prevail over Luzon and coming from Southwest to Northwest over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be moderate to rough.
The Low Pressure Area spotted east of Mindanao, which is expected to become a tropical cyclone, will be called Bagyong “Gener” once it enters the Philippine Area of Responsibility, state weather bureau PAGASA said.
As of 2pm Tuesday, another LPA was spotted 320 kilometers East Northeast of Tuguegarao City.
PAGASA said these low pressure areas and the southwest monsoon will bring scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms over Northern and Central Luzon, and Mindanao becoming widespread rains over Northern Luzon which may trigger flashfloods and landslides.
According to weather experts, Bagyong “Gener” will possibly enter the PAR on Wednesday, but it is not expected to make a landfall although it may bring heavy downpour that could cause flooding.
