Tropical Storm Enteng (International name: Namtheun) is outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR), according to the latest Severe Weather Bulletin issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).
But despite the storm’s exit, rainfall, estimated to be between moderate to heavy, is expected within its 300-kilometer diameter.
“Enteng,” as of 10 p.m. Thursday, was estimated to be 1,000 kilometers Northeast of Itbayat, Batanes outside PAR with maximum sustained winds of up to 100 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 130 kph.
The storm is forecast to move North Northeast at 19 kph.
The state weather bureau has not issued any tropical cyclone warning with the final report on weather disturbance issued on Thursday evening.
