At 2:00 p.m. today, the Active Low Pressure Area (ALPA) was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 160 km East of General Santos City (5.8°N, 126.7°E).
Mindanao will experience mostly cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms becoming cloudy with widespread rains over Eastern and Southern Mindanao which may trigger flashfloods and landslides. The rest of the country will have partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the eastern sections.
Light to moderate winds blowing from the southeast to south will prevail over Northern Luzon and coming from the east to southeast over the rest of the country. The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate.
